Description
Hello!
My name is Shana and I am a tattoo artist in Jagua.
I do temporary tattoos that last 1 to 2 weeks, I create original pieces or design based on the reference the client brings me!
What is jagua?
Genipa americana, also called "jagua", is a fruit from the tropical forests of South America. It has been known for millennia by Native Americans for a particular use: it colors the skin a deep and ephemeral blue.
How long does a jagua tattoo last?
Generally between 1 and 2 weeks, depending on the skin and the tattooed area.
Is jagua natural?
Yes. The jagua is an edible fruit. The skin naturally develops a deep blue color upon contact.
How is it different from henna?
Jagua colors the skin midnight blue, while traditional henna gives shades of orange to dark brown.
