Baraka,

It's a wave of good vibes that vibrates to the sounds of reggae ska, sometimes leaning more towards rock, enhanced by the warmth of brass. Touches of Latin and electronic music also find their way into Baraka's musical universe, reflecting a cultural melting pot that is also found in the lyrics, which are in French, Drehu, Païci, and Spanish. With a new brass section, the group released their second album in 2017, "Cidöri," in which they give prominence to current social issues.

Group composed of 11 musicians accompanied by their sound engineer Mr Ian Perraud.

The band has opened for several international groups/festivals, such as Raging Faya, Le peuple de l'herbe, Mulatason, Buena Vista Social Club at the Jazz à Nouméa festival, the Francofolies de Nouméa...
