Hoogo is a kaneka and reggae group from the Wérap tribe in Hienghène, in the north of New Caledonia. Formed in the 2000s, the group develops a music blending the two styles particularly present in the music scene of the north of the country.

Through their songs, Hoogo speaks particularly to younger generations. The presentation published by Mangrove Productions indicates that the group seeks to encourage young people to play music, to discover what exists outside their tribe, and to participate in building a shared future among the different communities of New Caledonia.

In 2015, Hoogo released Terre nature on Mangrove Productions. The album was recorded by Sacha Terrat and Momo Padane at Mangrove studio in Nouméa, then mixed and mastered by Derek Metivier at Mixtup studio in Auckland, New Zealand.
