Jeanne Hué is a kaneka singer from Lifou, New Caledonia. She took her first steps in music as a backing vocalist for Cemel, then collaborated with Seredridr before joining Fedyz.

In the early 2000s, she accompanied Fedyz on stage and in the studio, notably on the albums Ihnim and Solitaire. At the same time, she developed a more personal repertoire, marked by ballads and an acoustic approach to kaneka.

In 2006, Jeanne Hué released her first solo album, Destinée, on Mangrove Productions. The album includes eleven tracks, including Chemin du cœur, Pays mêlé, Melymelo, Cas Ihnim, Tya, À vous, Kanotheje, Romance, Garçon des îles and Ne dis pas tout.

For this album, Jeanne Hué is accompanied by Charles "Ubu" Taua on bass and percussion, Eddy "Omy" Waimo on keyboards, Philibert "Bea" Nekötrotro on guitar, and Jules "Jytos" Lolohea on drums. The recording took place at Mangrove Studio in Nouméa, and the mixing and mastering were done at Tenvor Studio in Auckland, New Zealand.

The title Melymelo, written by Jeanne Hué and composed with Charles Taua, subsequently appeared on several compilations dedicated to the music of New Caledonia.
