Les Mains Noires is a Melanesian folk group from Maré, New Caledonia, led by singer-songwriter Théophile Washetine. Active since the 1970s, the group belongs to a generation of Melanesian bands that preceded the emergence of kaneka.

Between 1976 and 1978, Les Mains Noires recorded three albums. Their music falls within the Melanesian folk genre, a style developed around Kanak songs and harmonies associated in particular with the guitar, ukulele and other instruments introduced to the Pacific islands.

After thirty-nine years without a new album, the group returned in 2017 with Nijonece, still led by Théophile Washetine. The album includes ten tracks, including Madrarungo nidi thurane, Ha hnaneone kore ngome, Iéié ne tjibaou, and Yawadrawa me kariroi. Théophile Washetine is credited as the author and composer of all ten songs.
