Description
Louise Sawaza, 26, discovered her passion for theatre just four years ago. Her role as Indy in Jeanne Vassard's film earned her the Best Actress award at the La Foa Film Festival.
Louise Sawaza, a freelance actress with Pacifique et Compagnie, regularly travels throughout the North Province to conduct prevention workshops in middle and high schools using forum theatre. This concept, invented by Brazilian playwright Augusto Bual in the 1960s, has been developed by the company for over eight years and is supported by the DPASS-Nord (Department of Social and Health Services of the North) and the Health and Social Agency. It helps young people express themselves about sexuality and addiction through theatrical improvisations.
